I moved away from west Michigan spring 2021 but today Mary Ann popped into my mind and I just discovered she passed away. To her friends and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I was a barista at Coffee Grounds in Grand Haven and she and her friend Mary Helen (I think) were some of my favorite regulars. When I moved jobs she would still come and visit which always made my day. Mary Ann was such a loving and spunky lady who I know is greatly missed by all who knew her. My late husband and I shared so many great times with Mary Ann and Dick both at our Motorhome rallies and at my winter home in Yuma! Some people you just bond with immediately and Mary Ann and I had many laughs and heart to heart talks. There was never a get reacquainted time period … it was always such a comfortable reunion … just like no time had passed. I will miss my friend but I will cherish my memories forever. When you lose someone that you love MEMORIES become TREASURES. Dick and family … GRIEF IS THE PRICE OF LOVE!! Mary Ann and I enjoyed many exciting times in our Froebel School days. We both won ribbons in the “jacks” competition. We were the tallest in the 7th grade class picture.
