Margaret Collison
Marynn was a caring, wonderful neighbor. She cooked muffins and meals for her son's family and others in the neighborhood and community. She also loved trying out any of my new recipes, especially if they included shrimp or curry.
She loved to sew and had a passion for quilts especially those from the 1930's. She made special quilts for all her grandchilden as well as Halloween costumes when asked to do so. She frequently made alterations for my granddaughter and helped make innovative adaptations for her equestrian outfits. She also created a unique, special pouch for my niece's 18 month old daughter(whom she never met) when she was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic and needed a place for her insulin pump that a toddler couldn't touch but that her parent's could easily access when she was awake or asleep.
She loved talking about her grandchildren and sharing about their activities and accomplishments. She also supported the various school fundraisers for the neighborhood children and was always willing to watch for packages when neighbors were away.
Our family's heart goes out to MaryAnn's family. She will be missed!
