Mary Louise Langler's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Louise Langler, age 100, passed away in Fremont, Michigan on Sunday, April 21, 2024. She was born in Muskegon on August 30, 1923 to Thomas and Frances (Stoddard) Morrall Sr. On August 16, 1947, she married Richard L. Langler in Muskegon and they enjoyed 46 years together prior to his passing in 1993. Mary graduated from the Hackley School of Nursing, class of 1944, and had worked as a registered nurse for the American Red Cross and Hackley Hospital prior to her retirement. She enjoyed crafting and will be remembered for her ability to make beautiful custom cards that her friends and family looked forward to on special occasions. Mary loved the outdoors, rock collecting, and travelling throughout the United States. She was a bright, sharp, and independent woman that will be remembered for her good sense of humor, fun loving spirit, and kindness. Mary is survived by her sister-in-law, Marlene (Donald) Groothuis; special nephew and niece, and caregivers, Robert and Cheryl Groothuis; nieces, Marlene O’Grady and Carol Ann Morrall and their families; and several loving nieces, nephews, and their families from Richard’s side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; and brother, Thomas Morrall Jr. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a PRIVATE FAMILY graveside service will be held at Sunrise Memorial Gardens later this year.
