Mary Agnes Norkus' Obituary
Mrs. Mary Agnes Norkus, age 97, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in Grand Haven, MI. She was born in Baltimore, MD on August 25, 1918 to Michael and Agnes (Kuznar) Hladki. On June 12, 1937, Mary married Victor J. Norkus, Sr. in Muskegon and he preceed her in death on November 5, 1996. She is survived by three children, William Norkus, Yvonne (John) Hinton and Michael (Cathy) Norkus; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Norkus; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and her special niece, Cathy Hammond. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Vicki Redfern; one son, Victor Norkus, Jr., one daughter-in-law, Carol Norkus; and two brothers, Walter and John Hladki. According to Mary’s wishes, SERVICES will be PRIVATE. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. MEMORIALS may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
