Some of my fondest memories are when we invited Mary to come talk to our summer camp counselors at the beginning of each summer during our staff training period. Mary would give our college age staff some great historical facts and old stories about Camp Pinewood. She was instramental in helping young people understand their importance of carrying on traditions that have touched lives for over 80 years. And who can forget those long walks to the mailbox, broom in hand in case any snakes attacked! Mary has meant a lot to us. I know Mom & Grandma is in a very nice place, and a place where she can watch over those neighbors of her's. Maybe she will keep them on their best behavior. I will miss her dearly, I will never forget her voice when she would call for checks that have cleared. I am sorry, but I am unable to attend the service, but my heart, and prayers are with you.
