Max Walburn was my Grandfather. I have been so blessed to have him in my life. He helped to guide me by his example with giving, religion, and loving and laughing. He was a great man with an enormous heart and hearty laugh. My Grandpa exposed me to many different places of travel with him and my wonderful Grandma and Aunt Mari Jo. who is more like a sister) My first airplane ride was with my Grandpa. I will miss him so much there will never be another like Max Walburn. He will be missed by so many who's life he touched. God Bless Gramps. I will see you on the other side. I love you.

Walburn Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Max was a great guy, and Bob and I have many great memories with him and your family. From the Fourth of July on Holy Hill @ The Elks Park, or the many Saturday nights when all the parents were together in my parents back yard. My dad and Max shared a very special bond and their friendship was something to be admired. Very few of us have a friendship that lasted as long as theirs and never wavered. I admired your father for that, for his great business sense, and his great laugh!
Love to you all,
Bob and Laurie Powers
Dear Mrs. Walburn, Mike and Beth and the Walburn family:

Dear family of Max: My name is Brad King. I am a classmate of Mike's. When I was first interested in becoming a funeral director I visited Max and he told me what to expect in life as a funeral director. Now some 33 years later, as a funeral director owning my own business in Hart MI, I still appreciate his encouragement of me to enter this career. May God continue His blessings upon your family. Brad King
