I knew Max and Ruth for many years.

Uncle Max was a 2nd Dad to me. I was almost born in his convertible, but he got mom to the hospital on time. Their door was always open for a hug and a snack. Uncle Max helped me learn how to groom poodles and always had a listening ear. May he rest in peace as he waits for the love of his life.
I don't even know where to start with my appreciation for Max, whom I also called "Dad." I've known him since I was around 11 years old, and through the years have had the pleasure to share fun times with Max & Ruth. As a kid, I could not believe that fridge downstairs filled to the brim with pop! Take what you want he always said. Max had a dry sense of humor, which I loved. He was a very generous man to his family and friends. And he was very hardworking-even throughout his retirement years, as he was always into something .I remember all the wood working & trimming people's pets that they would drop off at the house. And if you knew him, he had the most gorgeous lawn around! I'll never be able to compete dad! I am honored to have known him, and have had him part of my life for all these years. I love you "dad", until we meet again. May you rest in peace. Sincerely & with love, Nancy Hall
Sorry to hear of your loss.
