I am writing for my mom "Rose". Your mother and my mother Rose were cousins. Roses' dad was Paul Stapel. And your mother's mom "Minnie" and Roses' dad were brother and sister. Russel wrote Rose a letter to tell her of Maxine's passing. Rose has been reminising alot of her childhood and playing with her cousins. Your mother actually came to my wedding shower. Dear Maryjo and Brent,

Please know are thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during your time of loss. It is never easy to loose those we love. Rest sure in the comfort we have knowing our loved ones are with our Savior and now have no
aches, pains, or worries. A little something that was told to me during the recent loss of my mother that helped bring things into perspective was "Dying is just another day of living, our new and eternal life with Christ." So very sorry for your loss in the passing of your Mother. I have many fond memories of your Mom and Dad when I was a kid in the old Marquette neighborhood. They were very kind and giving people, always there for their family and others. May God comfort, strengthen, and uplift you during this difficult time.
