She was taken way too soon for sure
Melissa was her beautiful name
What a sweet soul she became

There are no words we can say
To make the pain go away
God must have needed her for some reason
As she was called home Thanksgiving season

The heartbreak will never go away
We learn to live with it day by day
Know that all those who truly care

Dear Melissa, I just can't believe you are not here to continue to light up this world. You truly were the pillar of what is to be an extraordinary human being. You were always sunshine, you were always stellar in your way of being. You showed up to work with the best attitude no matter what. You inspired and gave me energy in every way possible.
