Ms. Melissa Sue Wozny's Obituary
Ms. Melissa Sue Wozny, age 33, died unexpectedly, Wednesday November 27, 2019 in Atlanta, GA. She was a 2004 graduate of Ravenna High School. With adventure on her mind, she decided to choose a career in the airline industry. She was accepted and trained by Mesa Airlines in Mesa, Arizona and was employed by them until she accepted a position with Delta Airlines in 2008, working as a flight attendant. Her career encompassed her living in multiple cities including Houston, New York, Las Vegas, and most recently, Atlanta. Melissa was loved by and touched so many people’s lives. She is survived by her parents, Bob and Brenda Wozny of Walkerville; sister, Christine Wozny of Norton Shores; grandmothers, Dorothy Bentley of Muskegon and Madeline Sluss of Frostburg, MD; aunts and uncles, Judy (Lee) Leiter of Muskegon, Tony (Carrie) Wozny of Traverse City, Don Wozny of Grand Haven, Deb DelSignore of Frostburg, MD, and Nancy Sluss of Frostburg, MD; and many cousins. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2 PM Saturday, December 7, 2019 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444, with Pastor John H.
