Uncle Mel was a wonderful beloved man. I truly looked up to him as an inspiration that you can accomplish anything you want to if you put your mind to it and work hard. You will be missed.

Today we are going to share our love and stories with Jean and the Hentschel family that we have about Mel. I know it is going to be hard to have to say goodbye but the time I had with him was special and heart warming all I can say is thank you GOD for lending us Mel for the time we had him. It was time full of love, learning and joy for all of us in his life. Jean and Mel had a wonderful life together I know for her it was too short but fulfilling and ful of love. Now we have given him back knowing he can rest in peace and just as Gary said "JUST GO WITH THE FLOW"
Love you so much Martha Stratton
Dad there are so many memories that have been on my mind that last week. Many have made me laugh and smile and some have made me miss you so much. I love you so much and you will be greatly missed. I wish I would have told you more.
"Fly beyond imagining
The softest cloud, the whitest dove
Upon the wind of heaven's love
Past the planets and the stars
Leave this lonely world of ours
Escape the sorrow and the pain
And fly again"
~~Celine Dion
I love you so much dad. I will make you proud!
Dear Jean: It's been many years since I have seen you or Mel but I vividly remember the many years of Bingo my Bob operated and you and his Mom worked so very hard for. What a "family" like group that was. Mel was also there always, so willing to help in any way and he always had such a wide smile and happy nature. Bob ejoyed and appreciated all you folks so very much. You've been left a gift of memories in exchange for his leaving. Hold on to those memories and let them guide you. My sincere sympathy
