Michael H. Hansen's Obituary
Mr. Michael H. Hansen, age 56, was announced to heaven on Saturday, February 25, 2006, at home. He was born on August 13, 1949 to Herman and Madonna (Graham) Hansen and lived in the Muskegon area all of his life. He was a member of the Jesus’ Fellowship Church and was currently working for Citadel Broadcasting as a broadcast operator. He has worked in broadcasting for the past 40 years, which started at Channel 54 in the Occidental Hotel while attending Muskegon High School. After graduating Mike continued to work at area radio stations as an announcer/deejay. In 1979, he acquired his First Class Radio License and began engineering. He worked with Terry Ficorelli as an assistant for every Muskegon Fury home game while being partially disabled, since 2002. On July 19, 1975, he married Katrina Sischo. SURVIVORS include his wife, Katrina; 3 children, Samantha (Brian) Rastall, Michael (Kary Deater) Hansen and Timothy Hansen; 4 grandchildren and special family members, Monty and Randy Vishino. Mr. Hansen was preceded in death by his parents, and special family member, Shirley Seaman. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 3:00 PM Saturday at the Jesus’ Fellowship Church with Rev. David DeKoning officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 2 hours prior to the service, at the church. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the family.
