My heartfelt condolences to Millie's family. My grief and tears when I heard that she had passed away are now replaced with great joy for her being "home" and at peace. I was a Harbor Hospice Respite Volunteer who was privileged to become her friend over the months through my weekly visits. We became close. I loved her right from the beginning. Despite her illness, she was always gracious and concerned about if I needed anything to eat. How ironic and we would laugh about it. I was always amazed by her generous and loving ways. She was a true Christian lady and is now enjoying being with her Lord. Rest in peace, dear Millie.

We are so thankful to have had Millie’s support and friendship at Christian Care. Her help on the Ice Cream Social was invaluable. She was a dynamo, a cheer leader, an encourager, and one who displayed the fruits of the spirit to everyone. She has brought joy to her heavenly home, and we pray that the Lord will blanket you with comfort and peace, John and family, during this sad time.

Aunt Mill and I sang a duet at Steve 's wedding. We pulled it off even though she told me she would be extremely nervous. I thought she was pretty calm. Later I found out she had taken a valium. Those nurses just know stuff!
I loved watching my mom interact with Milly. Those sisters so enjoyed each other's company. Of course everyone enjoyed Milly's company. Easy laugh, sparkling smile, and always a positive slant on life!

Steve and John. I was so sorry to hear that Millie had passed away. I always remember her with her amazing singing voice. Praise the Lord that she is now singing God's praises up in Heaven. Sorry that I will be out of town the rest of the week and will not be there to express my sympathy in person. We are so thankful that we know where Millie is and that we will all look forward to that place someday soon.
