George and Judy, My thoughts are with both of you along with memories of your Mom and the times we shared in conversations in my caring and friendship with both Her and you. I feel a connection with you because of this. I enjoyed Millies sense of humor and stories of how She " picked" Judy out for you George. "Laundry" comes to mind also.
I feel a sadness right now in seeing her picture and obit and thinking of all the memories that it brings up for me so many times I spent with her in her room, rearranging her room to make it safer for her, putting knee brace on and phone calls with both of you giving updates on her and sharing with both of you.
I am Thankful I got to know her and both of you also and the times we shared and hope to see you around town in G.H. in the summer.

Memories of Millie too numerous to enumerate here. She was my co-worker at Sears Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn;
part of the group from the shoe department that regularly met at Miller’s;
loved her German white Wines;
ecstatic when her grandson, Benjamin was born;
proud of her son, George, when he published his mathematical dissertation;
her great sense of humor;
her laugh and smile;
her stories about her Sears career at “Grand River” store;
agility at climbing the ladders in the shoe stock room;
the way she could parody some of our more obnoxious customers;
legendary party host;
And oh so many other memories. Millie was a gift and I am forever grateful that she was a part of my life.

My sympathy to the family. I knew Millie when she lived at Christian Haven Home and I worked in the kitchen. My life was enriched in knowing her. We shared many a smile and lots of laughs. She was a wonderful lady.

I have never forgotten Millie from her time at Christian Haven Home. She was so feisty and we had such a good time kidding around. I actually still have her exercise whistle on my desk that they gave her when she lived over in Plymouth. She was so proud of erh exercise group. Sending prayers and thought to the family
