Mildred M. Jackson's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred May Jackson, age 98, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 in Grand Haven. She was born on February 13, 1920 in Royal Oak, MI to Earl and Iola (Erter) Malloy, and resided in the Grand Haven area for the past nine years. Mildred worked for Sears Roebuck until she was 82 years of age, and will be remembered for her sparkling sense of humor, and quick wit. On October 13, 1942 she married Nelson Jackson, and he preceded her in death in 1971. SURVIVORS include her son, George (Judith) Jackson of Dunedin, FL; 2 grandsons, Matthew (Diana) Jackson of Royal Oak, MI, and Benjamin Jackson of LaFayette, IN. Mildred was also preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Malloy; and brother, DeForest Malloy. A private family gathering will take place.
