I only met Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Rich once at their grandson Tony's wedding in Las Vegas, NV. I have the utmost respect for her as the matriarch of such a big family. My stepfather Mark spoke highly of his parents and with much love. They will truly be missed. They are in are prayers and we hope they will be at peace. Our parent's passing is never a happy moment, but you can take real comfort in knowing the love she had for all of you. Your mom was always kind and thoughtful toward me and I am sure she is resting comfortably in the lap of our Lord. Blessings upon the whole Rich family.
Thoughts of Millie are always accompanied with the smile she brings to my face. Constantly a sweet gentle lady who was so friendly and helpful to us as we were neighboring children over 60 years ago and in the many years that followed. I rejoice that she is enjoying the presence of Jesus, her dear husband Vern, my dad Vic Haney and other believers that had gone before her.
John and Family: I never really knew your Mother except as an acquaintance, but do know the quality of the children she and your Father raised. I am also familiar with the heartbreak you are all now going through, because we are never ready to lose our parents. The best words I can tell you right now is to hold all of the memories, and pass them on to the future generations. I honestly believe that, so long as the memories exist, a part of our loved one remains here with us. May God bless you all and hold you close.
