Mr. Voorhies - He will always be Mr. Voorhies to me. Father of my friend Mike. At our last class reunion, I was amazed he was still living in the ole house. 93 years old, what a dynamo!
The efforts he made in getting the Churchill Athletic Association started so us Norton Township (Churchill School) guys could discover “real” organized baseball was a Huge gift to countless kids. What great memories. Some of us wore those Baseball caps for a long time. Thanks Mr Voorhies.
