Minnie E. Wickland, age 97, went to be with her Lord and Savior and rejoined her husband, Edward Wickland, who passed away in 1966. Minnie was born in Glen Haven, MI on June 25, 1910. Her family moved to Muskegon in 1924. She was Read Obituary
My sympathy to the family at this time. Minnie was a secretary to my late husband, Jim Klecka at Continental Motors. Jim always spoke very highly of Minnie. They shared many family stories with each other. He always enjoyed working with Minnie. May your many memories sustain you and comfort you in the days ahead. My blessings and prayers.

Minnie was a unique woman who lived a full happy life on her own but never alone. The last time we saw her was at breakfast a few years ago. She kept us in stitches. One of our dear friends from Lake Harbor Baptist Church of years gone by. We will miss her.

I knew Minnie when I was just a little girl. I would go to her house and help her with yard work and chores. I lost my mom when I was 15 months old, so Minnie would keep an eye on our household from her corner. She was always so kind to me. And even after my dad died when I was 16, she would ask about me. I would see her and Betsy hanging out together. I envied the closeness they shared as sisters. It was a wonderful relationship. She was a very special lady with such a big heart. One that touches every one she meets. Now she is rejoicing with those who have gone on before. I look forward to when I can see her beautiful face again.
