Mr. B.
Words can not say how thankful I am for being a part of your life. You took me in as one of your own. You gave encouragement when I needed it, and had me spar with Big Bob or Ray Curry when I needed some correction. You took me out to Telluride (AJ’s) where Big Bob, Todd and I climbed mountains which AJ called hills. You took me out to Albuquerque (Timmy’s) where it said on a roadside sign “Welcome Master Beghtol and honored students”. It was on that trip you said “Welcome to my Family”. I was one of the fortunate ones that was able to be there in Houston with you, when you received your induction into the “Hall of Fame”. You let me go to lunch with you, Bill Wallace and Dan Severns. We were even welcomed into his (Dan Severns) son’s show and tell. You let me teach your college class for nine years where my students taught me to teach and you stood up for me and Amy in my wedding. The years we spent in Terry’s garage, with Rob Masko, Terry, Greg, Chad Deyoung, Dave Vinski, Matt, Darrin, Big Bob, Todd and Ray Curry. You helped Brad and Jay go Pro Kick Boxing and we fought the United States Heavy Weight Title holder. My favorite Monte quote was “If you were not picking yourself up from the other side of Henry Street, it was controlled”. We would go to Pizza Hut and have snowball fights and talk about the workout; you always had a story that I had never heard. You taught me that the rank didn’t make the man, but rather the man made the rank. Now that I look back I realize that all you have done and given was for me, my family, and your students. The things I will be able to share with my kids because of the relationships and memories you helped me create. With an unselfish heart you gave. For this I will always be grateful. You and Patti will always hold a special place in my heart. May God bless you and Patti, May God bless your Family, and may you now rest in peace Grand Master Beghtol. 감사합니다 (Thank you) and I love you Mr. B, you will never be forgotten!##imported-begin##Chad James##imported-end##
