Though we never had the pleasure of meeting Morna, we are getting to know her son Steve very well. His kindness and enthusiasm for life speaks volumes about the kind of people who raised him - Morna surely was all of the same positive things that her son is. I have several cherished memories of this wonderful lady. One was how stunning she looked at Amber and Corey's wedding. She stood out and I knew she must be someone very special. The second was on Easter at Steve and Jackie's house. Zelda, Jackie's mother, admired June's shoes so she took them off and gave them to her on the spot. She went home barefoot and it was pretty chilly as she stood in the driveway for 20 minutes or more and chatted with Steve. Finally, she kept watch at the bedside of Jackie, showing the level of caring she had for all her family. My life is better for having known her and I'm grateful for the love and devotion she showed my son, his lovely wife and fabulous sons right up until the end of her life here. She was surely welcomed joyfully when God called her home. My condolences, love and prayers are with Steve, Michelle, Amber and the entire family.##imported-begin##Laura Dean-Bonnell##imported-end##
