Mr. Charles Harry “Chuck” Ritter, age 84, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at his home in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon, MI on July 5, 1926 to Walter and Anna (Bouwkamp) Ritter and was a life resident of the area. Mr. Rit Read Obituary
Well what another sad day it is for me to see that "Uncle" Chuck had passed. He was such a jokester and always so full of life.

We love you so much and cannot tell you how sad we are for all of us in the loss of a husband, father, neighbor, and friend. Uncle Chuck was a man to be admired and loved and so many of us did admire and love him. I always looked forward to seeing him and getting my hugs and kisses. He was as dear a man as there ever was and his presence will be greatly missed. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Know that God is weeping with you today as well.

Chuck Ritter was an amazing guy. He was the best VFW Chaplain I ever saw. When ever he was at our funeral home I made it a point to watch him do the service. It always put a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye. He made me proud to be an American.
