I didn't know this site existed untill today...Or I would have posted earlier,
Doug was my brother. Our kids were always very close. For most of our lives Doug and I were very close as well...then the circumstances of life happened and I moved away...since then Doug and I drifted apart..something that I can't tell you how much I regret...but I know he knew how much I loved him. For those of you out there reading this...take heed, life is to short...contact that loved one! Doug, you are forever in my heart. I just wanted to say how lucky I am to have known Doug and spend the amount of time with him that I did. He was always there to help Jilli and myself with anything we might have needed, from fixing pipes to picking us up when Jilli's car kinda broke. But the things I'm going to miss the most are the times I got to hang out with him and just talk or play cribbage. You are a awesome guy and I'm going to miss you very much. Love ya!

So sorry to hear of your sorrow. He is in the Lord's hands at his very young age.

I couldn't help but see this as my Mom has passed also. At least she was 97.

It deeply saddens me to know that I have lost my cousin. Doug ( called "slugger" by my dad) will be missed and was so well thought of by everyone who met him.
