Unfortunately unable to attend the services for Gerrit, I wanted to send a short message to the family to let them know again what a wonderful man Gerrit was and how I enjoyed my short time and meetings with him. I am certain if more humankind had a heart like Gerrit our earthly presence would be much more enjoyable. I again would like to send condolence to Helen and kids on losing a truly wonderful husband, father and grandfather as I am certain he will be sorely missed.
