I wasn't sure if I should write on this, however; the last week or so I've not come to grips with everything until now. I'm 3 hours away and I don't have to deal with the everyday of knowing you're not at home, sitting in your spot at the kitchen table waiting to say "hey bibi" when the kids and I walk through the door. Or in your yard, picking up the one leaf that fell from the trees.
Kylie misses you every single day, and talks to you everyday. I miss you every single day when I look at the Lambrusco bottle, the last Lambrusco bottle we shared on March 11th while we watched The Amazing Race. I will forever love that show, because you watched it with me and wasn't upset because CNN wasn't on.
I will always cherish the talks you and Mike had, as well. You and him were like two peas in a pod and nothing made me more happy then to see that. I will also cherish the memories I have in my heart, forever. The list of them could go on, and on and on.
I will miss you, everyday of my life and I will think about you everyday. I know you're watching over all of us making sure we're ok, even though selfishly we all want you here, still.
I love you, Grandpa and please don't forget that!##imported-begin##GiGi##imported-end##

Dad - Unlike my brothers, I didn't have the strength to speak about our relationship during your service, but wanted anyone who may read this to know: I will miss our morning coffee-clutches, hearing the stories you have been sharing, and all the other extra special times we shared over the past few years. I will always remember the sparkle in your blue eyes when you talked about mom and said,"Boy, she's good to me", sounding amazed that you deserved such a good wife. I'll think of you each time I am in the yard or have a gardening problem or a burnt lawn or bugs eating my grass and try to cope when I realize you are not just a phone call away to solve the problem. I WILL have faith that you are now much closer than a phone call and will be here always to guide me towards the answers I'm looking for. I take a great deal of comfort in the fact that after so many years we were able to say "I love you" so easily and freely. I am so very proud and honored that I am able to say that you were more than just my father, more than just my dad...you were my friend. I will miss you more than you would ever believe. I have, do and always will love you very, very much - Beaner##imported-begin##Beaner##imported-end##
