Marlene, Kelly & family,

I remember meeting her once, went to her house to look at some furniture.My Dad remembers her from when he was a boy, as they lived in the same neighborhood.She lived a very long life & I'm sure you all will miss her. I remember Edie and her friend Ethel from over 35 years ago when I worked at Planned Parenthood in Muskegon. Edie and Ethel volunteered there and always brightened our day with their kindness, wit and cheerfulness. I remember when I got the invite to , i believe, her 95th birthday party. My dad which was her brother Lawrence, had just talked to her recently to wish her happy birthday. When he saw the invite, he decided to go to her party and surprise her. We hopped in the car, my dad, my granddaughter and myself, and made the drive up there. When we walked in and found her, she was so happy to see us. She hadnt seen her brother in a while. Im glad we took a couple pictures to remember that day. She is one beautiful person with such a large giving heart and I am proud to call her my Aunt Edith. Love you Aunt Edith and i take comfort knowing you are reunited with everyone once again. I remember Edith living on Valk Street in Norton Shores. She always gave out good Halloween candy and that was many, many years ago that I stopped trick or treating.
