Aunt Joanne was always an inspiration to me with so much vitality and joy for life. She always did something special for my daughter, Jaime as she was growing up. I will always remember the fun time we had in Santa Fe after Jaime's graduation. Aunt Joanne, you will be missed!

I will always remember Joanne as a good friend and my faithful and helpful classroom assistant in my ESL class at Muskegon Adult Ed. She was a tremendous support, always cheerful and upbeat, and had a great sense of humor.
I remember one time when I wanted to check out a car in the inner city. I called to see if she would go with me,and she was willing. That's when I found out how well known and loved she was by so many of our former students.
I trust that she is at peace with the Lord now. I am so glad that I knew her in this lifetime, and hope to see her in the next.##imported-begin##Jan Welsh##imported-end##

My mother Jane Wade did not learn of her dear friend Joanne's death until after the funeral. She was deeply saddened that she could not be with you today as Mr. and Mrs. Haug supported our family for many, many years. We remember you all from Sunday visits in our childhood. Our mothers stayed in touch long after all of the kids were grown and gone. And my mother is Annie's godmother--a tie that binds.
The friendship between mothers shapes the whole family. Our prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother.
