Dear Hoffman family,
It has been my great priviledge over the last few years to know your mom and dad through the Orchard View Adult High School program. As we worked toward their high school graduation through the years, I discovered a couple who were a team. Your mom seemed to be the instigator, thinking up new ways to surprise people in generous and caring ways. She was always so kind, so ready to make special cookies or cakes, so willing to share a good joke, so energetic in getting things to turn out just right. Perhaps the guiding principle of her life affected those her knew her including myself, the most: "God is still in charge." Her faithful, loving witness will inspire me all the days of my life.
