As I have said in your sympathy cards, what memories I hold in my heart of Uncle Jim and Aunt Mare. What wonderful friends they were to my parents - they had so much fun. I think Uncle Jim was the only one to call my mom "Ginger". I'll treasure our trip to Virginia in the motor home to go to Maribeth's wedding in 1982. My Tyghe' was 10 and absolutely warmed up to Aunt Mare so quickly. She was such a trooper...was willing to do anything and go anywhere. She loved her Jim so much (never did find anyone to replace him for he was unreplacable as was 'ol Don). Her children and grandchildren were her life!!! I see my sister, Helen, has signed the guest book. I want to add that I remember the children. I also went next door to the White's to visit with Maryon. She was a lovely woman, and I enjoyed her company even though she probably didn't need another child "hanging around. I have fond memories of her, and I extend my sympathies to her family.

I was a very young girl living next door to Maryon & Jim on Southern Ave.while I was growing up. I was always so happy to be able to help "take care" of Patty Mike & Danny when they were very young - still have some photos of those early days. Maryon was always so pleasant and patient - and put up with me as I probably visited much too often. I have such fond memories of her and the joy of being trusted with the play time with the boys. We haven't kept in contact over the years but those early memories never fade away. My deepest sympathy to all your family.
