Mrs. Maryon White's Obituary
Mrs. Maryon V. White, age 88, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2006 in Muskegon. She was born August 15, 1918 to John and Margaret (Cioe) Blake in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Mrs. White was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church, and many years ago had worked at Brenneman’s. She married James White on September 26, 1940, and he preceded her in death in 1969. SURVIVORS include 4 children, Patrick (Sharon) White of Muskegon, Daniel (Sherry) White of Muskegon, Mary Ellen (David) Chaney of Ludington, James (Lee Ann) White of Norton Shores; 13 grandchildren, Michael (Joni), Mark (Amy), and Andrew White, Amy (Steve) VerMerris, Daniel, Julie, and Paul White, Eric (Kate) Chaney, Jon Chaney, Sarah Chaney, Jimmy, Sam, and Ben Gorbach; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Robert (Eloise) Blake of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Maryann Houseman. She was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Barbara White in 1989; 3 sisters, Margaret Porter, Patricia Fitzpatrick, Dorothy Dobb; 1 brother, Thomas Blake. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Thomas G. Simons presiding. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION will be from 9:00 – 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Marian Chapel at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to the Hume Home.
