We are so blessed to have gotten to know Ruth and to have called her family. It joys me to know that she was able to hold her great grandson, Owen, just a few short weeks ago, and that she will now be able to finally hold her other great grandson, Liam. We will miss her. My greatest memory will be sitting at the table with her my first Christmas at her home. She welcomed me to the family with what is now a treasured gift...several recipes that include her mother, Madelyn Phillips Christmas cake. I will remember her everytime I make it and hope that in some small way I can carry on her legacy. Our prayers are with you and we will see you soon.
