Nancy & my mother, Alvena Aley, worked at McGraft Church & spent much time together. My mom was a Sunday School teacher & Director of CE when Reverend Cummings was pastor in the early 1970's. Alvena got very involved in McGraft Church from 1946, when she married my dad who attended McGraft since he was a child in the early 1900's. Nancy & my mom became very close. Nancy was faithful to McGraft Church & never missed a Sunday to my knowledge. Her and her husband (who was in charge at MHS when I attended there), were a very handsome couple always together at church & always involved in activities. Nancy had a quiet demeanor, but would always be interested in others & always took time out to talk to me & others when she could. She was one of the nicest persons one could ever meet. She was truly a gem! I'm glad my mom & her had some good times in fellowship at church together. Many genuine smiles. My mom died in 2001. Many of the loyal longtime conservative members of McGraft are gone now. I'm glad I knew many of them, like Nancy, and her husband, now together in eternity.
