Neva P. Greenwood's Obituary
Neva Greenwood passed away March 10, 2015. She was born March 27, 1920 to Fred and Ida (King) Maynard. She grew up in the Muskegon Heights area. She married Raymond Greenwood on December 12, 1944. After high school she became a certified cosmetologist, an occupation she worked at most of her life until her employment at Howmet as a wax inspector where she eventually retired in 1993. She enjoyed the company of her family, playing the organ and her cats. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 1981, her parents, and her brother Wallace. Survivors include her son Gene (Barbara) Greenwood, daughters Rhonda (Kenneth) Carson, and Sharon (William) Hansen. She also leaves behind four grandchildren which include Jon (Gretta) Trebilcock, Tom (Melanie) Trebilcock), Andrew Carson, and Kellie Carson. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be Monday, March 16, at 6-8PM at Sytsema Funeral Home on Apple Avenue. The funeral will be held at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210 on Tuesday, March 17, at 11:00 AM.
