To the Heil family, Nick was our good luck charm when he would join us at the Starlite Bowling alley in Grand Havem. He was always a gentelman, smiling, sincere and was not there to see us older ladies but to spend time with my Grand Niece Gina Hartwell. The whole league looked forward to his visits, making sure WMU school was going alright. I would have been proud to call him a son or grandson or Grand Nephew. We all will miss his smile and friendship.
We were so sorry to hear this bad news, you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Nicolas will always be in our memories as a young lovely man who was filled with delight and joy and loved his life. When we last saw him in 2012 he taught Catharina how to drive the quad and he took good care of us.
In case of a loss like this the hearts of the parents are bleeding, but hopefully time will heal the pain a little bit. And as he was caring for you within his time on earth, he is now taking care of you as an angel, always by your side and in your hearts, Family Heil.

You don't know me, but my son, Tyler Smith worked briefly with Nic and was to be one of his roommates at WMU this fall. Tyler was just getting to know Nic and looked forward to getting to know him better.
As a mother, my heart goes out to your whole family. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in our prayers.
