Marilyn Wood
Noel and I were first cousins but grew up living 65 miles apart in Michigan and only saw each other when her family came up to the farm to see our Grandma. After high school the only time we saw each other was at her wedding when she and Harry were married in Detroit. Then after a hiatus of almost 70 years we connected again when she, Matt and Elaine came to my home so Matt could scan pages and pages of genealogical research completed by my mother tracing the Wood family history. I'll be forever grateful for that opportunity to catch up on each others' lives, to feel the closeness of this dear relative of mine and to share so many memories and family pictures. We have kept in touch since then, and I am so saddened she is gone though consoled knowing she had such a happy life with Harry and their loving family and will join him in heaven. My heart goes out to all of Noel's family as they come to grips with her passing and the empty spaces in their lives. Their memories will undoubtedly go a long way in easing their sorrow as time goes on.
