So sad to read of the passing of Skip ,Many thoughts and prayers are with the family. I new Skip from way back , his teen age years. Skip and his brother Terry worked for my Mom & Dad at Sally Jon Bakery. What fun that was. You will be missed.

Skip was such a generous, kind and loving person. His ability to build things or renovate always amazed me. He helped so many people with their home projects, including ours. Even while in pain himself, he would not give up until the job was complete and done right! He had a great sense of humor and we had many laughs with Skip. Most importantly, his love for his family was endless. Skip and his wife, Cindy,...soul mates and best friends. He loved his wife, kids, grandchildren and the rest of his family and friends so deeply. Skip was an amazing person and we will miss him so much. We will cherish so many great memories. Skip was my FRIEND. He, his family and mine shared many great times together. He always had some plan going on. He was always working on a project or helping others with theirs, myself included. He had a talent for building things. He could just figure out ways to add "this" to "that". He could make it happen out of what was just laying around. Amazing.
But best of all, he was a family man, he loved and cared for his family with great joy.
It was a blessing to have known him. I will miss him.
Although I did not know Skip very well, Cindy is not only a cousin, but a sister in my heart. I know how happy he made her and what a wonderful family man Skip was. Cindy, my heart breaks for you and your family. I'm sending prayers for your comfort and understanding. With a lot of love.
Farewell to one of God's gentle giants. Etched in my mind is last summer at the cottage and him pushing you, Cindy, on that infamous rope swing. The love shared between you two was so obviously evident and a great example for all of us to see. We're praying for you & the whole family and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God will hold you firmly in the palm of His Hand as you walk this heartbreaking journey.

Cindy, Heath, Jake and Adam, (and the whole Priest family), First I just want to say how much I love you all and I am just so sorry. I will always remember Skip most of all for his huge heart. Especially for the Christmas so many years ago when our kids were so little. Skip knew that we didn't have much money for Christmas that year so he bought us our first fake Christmas tree but it truly looked real. He also brought a singing Christmas bear for the kids. All of my grandkids played with that bear every year at Christmas time. Kristen still has it for our youngest grandchIld today. I could go on and on with stories of his kindness towards my family.
