Mr. Norman "Skip" Priest's Obituary
Mr. Norman L. “Skip” Priest, 64, passed away very unexpectedly Wednesday morning, April 13, 2016 in Muskegon. He was born June 10, 1951 in Muskegon, and lived most of his life here. Skip was a U.S. Marine veteran and a member of The Journey: Northside Church. He enjoyed helping others with whatever they needed, dry walling, baking, home improvement, going to casinos, and riding his motorcycle. On January 10, 1979, Skip married Cynthia L. Bradfield, she survives him along with 3 sons, Jacob Lee Priest, Adam Lee (Amber Thebo) Priest, Heath Norman Priest; 8 grandchildren, Alivia, Addison, Ayana, Khloe, Britny, Dakota, Dalton and Xander; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Terry Priest, Rodney Harris, Royce Gray, William Harris-List; 1 sister, Kimberly Bigelow; countless loved in-laws, nieces and nephews. Skip was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Debbie Herrick. A service celebrating Skip’s life will be held Monday, April 18, 2016, at 12:00 noon at The Journey: Northside (formerly Northside Bible Church), 1937 N. Whitehall Rd. Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening, April 17, from 6-8 PM also at the church, and 1 hour prior to the service.
