To the family and close friends of Norma Green,
Norma was a dear mentor of mine, guiding me through the first year of my presidency at Lakeland Painters….actually, she “freely” gave me direction through both of my years of leadership (whether I wanted it or not!). Many times I turned to her for advice on my own art. Her comments, periodic phone calls, and generosity were always an encouragement for me. She took in an interest in my projects, teaching, mother’s health, and even my music. In a phone conversation, just late last week, I told her that I learned and recorded a Dixieland tune (due to her love of that type of jazz, I knew that it would make her proud). I thank the Lord for her and for the important influence she had on my life and many others. Such a loss is hard to take. I share with you in your grieving.
