I fondly remember being "roomies" with Pat during our four week training in Lansing for working for the Correctional Facility. Every night she always made me do my homework with her before we could walk across the street to Meijer to get ice cream! At work, guys would come into the office to do some work and we weren't sure whether they were employees or inmates. She would nicely ask them, "Do you spend the night here?" rather than outright ask if they were inmates! LOL She was very pleasant to work with, and we also spent time together visiting Michigan City Outlets or other trips. We grew apart when I left the Department of Corrections, but I truly miss her friendship and wish I would have visited more and kept in touch. My deepest sympathy to the family! <3
