Patrecia C. Pranger's Obituary
Mrs. Patrecia C. Pranger, age 83, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 in Muskegon. She was born on December 24, 1936 in Muskegon to Philip and Mary (Cates) Blohm and was a lifelong resident of the area. Pat worked for the Muskegon Regional Center and Michigan Department of Corrections for over 25 years before retiring in 1991. She was a member of Fellowship Reformed Church in Muskegon. Pat played piano and organ for many churches in the area, and was the accompanist for Oakridge High School Choir for a number of years. She also taught piano lessons both at her home and Meyer Music, and pioneered a music program with funding for musicians at the prison. Pat first married Roy Fairfield, and then on April 6, 2011, she married William Pranger and they survive her along with three children, Kevin (Karen) Fairfield, Kyle Fairfield, and Keith (Debbie) Fairfield; four grandchildren, Erika and Chad Fairfield and Kelsey and Matthew Fairfield; six step-children, Scott (Theresa) Pranger, Robert (Kerri) Pranger, Rosanna (Trent) Johnson, Kristina Lucarelli, Marc Lucarelli, Robert (Deb) Brink; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her brother, Royce Blohm. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 4:30 PM, Tuesday August 11, 2020 at Fellowship Reformed Church (4200 E Apple Ave.) with Pastor Mike Van Kampen officiating. Visitation with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 3:30-4:30 PM. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Fellowship Reformed Church Music Program will be appreciated.
