Paul Mulder's Obituary
Paul Mulder, age 63, of Norton Shores passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, at the Leila and Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence. He was born February 4, 1954, in Muskegon, to James and Betty (Linderman) Mulder.
Paul graduated from Mona Shores High School in 1972 and from Ferris State University in 1978. He worked at Hackley Hospital for numerous years and was currently employed as an implementation consultant for Abbott Laboratories Diabetes Care. Paul was a member of the Vikings Lodge, and also loved to golf.
He is lovingly remembered by his niece, Beth Mulder Brown and her children, Kylee and Justin; and nephew, Brian Mulder and his children, Josh, Drew, and Alex; sister-in-law, Bernadette Mulder; and lifelong friend, Cindy Anderson Armstrong and her children, Shawn, Brett, and Dana. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty; brother, Bruce Mulder in 2011; and special uncle, Lewis Linderman.
A luncheon in honor of Paul’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 2017, at The Viking Lodge 3132 Lakeshore Drive, Muskegon, MI 49441. Paul’s family is very grateful for all the special friends and caregivers over this past year, that enabled Paul to stay in his own home, as long as possible. A “special thanks” to the Poppen House staff for their compassionate care, and "special thanks" to his "go to girls" Danielle and Lindsey for all the love and laughter they brought into Paul's home.
