I have known Paul for over 60 years, was married to my sister Ruth for almost 59 years. In January God called Ruth home and now 5 months later called Paul to join them in the splendors of Heaven. I can just imagine Paul's excitement at 3 a.m. in the morning when he open his blind eyes and saw the splendors of Heaven and the face of Christ. Paul was a hard-working family man who always was helping other people with projects and being such a handyman could fix about anything. He was such a devoted husband and father, grandfather, great grandfather and special friend to everyone he knew. He was a great brother-in-law and most of all he was a great friend for so many years. Vivien and I and our family pray God's blessings and comfort to his 3 children, Carol, Leila & Kate and their families. May God bless and cherish our memories of both Ruth and Paul.
Your dad was such a wonderful man with a HUGE servant's heart. On a youth ministry trip to Cleveland, Ohio in the late 1970's he was the "chaperone" in our hotel room of 4 guys (Paul and three teenage boys) and he was the most fun person in the room. He was a rock-solid husband, father and servant in the local church. Well done Paul!
