This tribute to Peter Ferrier is from a small group of friends, all aged in their early eighties, who were in the same class as him at Walliscote School in Weston-super-Mare from 1953-57, He was a popular member of the class and a talented rugby player, cricketer and canoeist. His enthusiasm for sport as a schoolboy clearly continued throughout his adult life, as illustrated by his love of playing tennis and golf. His mechanical and practical skills were undoubtedly acquired during his 12 years’ service in the Royal Navy and these were impressively displayed by his keen interest in rebuilding classic cars. Peter was obviously a strong believer in traditional family values and he will be sorely missed by his wife, Carol, and all other members of his family. We would be very interested in viewing any video that is produced celebrating Peter’s life and look forward to receiving details of its availability in due course. Finally, we offer our sincere condolences to all members of Peter’s family and we will certainly cherish the happy and fond memories we have of him as a fellow classmate.
