Mr. Ramon Allen "Bear" Laskowski's Obituary
Mr. Ramon Allen “Bear” Laskowski, age 78, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 in Muskegon following a brief illness. He was born on September 21, 1936 in Muskegon to Otto and Frances (Bohland) Laskowski. Bear was employed as an electrician for over 40 years with IBEW and had worked in Michigan and various other states. He had also worked as a welder in Valdez, Alaska on the Alaska Pipeline. Bear was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his home on the White River. His greatest pleasure was helping his family and friends with anything they needed. He is survived by four children, Allen (Catherine) Laskowski, Mitchell (Julie) Laskowski, Lisa (Dave) Barham and Greg (Kimberly) Laskowski; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Jane (Dan) Bacon and his half-brother, Jim Laskowski. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 3:00 PM Monday, October 20, 2014 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Rev. Bill Filmore officiating. VISITATION wil be one hour prior to the service
