Grandpa was a great man. He had a special love for all of his grand children. Everytime we would go over to the house, we knew we would always have a playmate and someone to read us a story. I'm sure he was trying to breed us all into being baseball players! If Grandpa didn't have his Cubs the world wouldn't have been the same! My fondest memory was the Thanksgivings spend at Aunt Ruth and Uncle Ray's. It was the only time we were able to watch TV and eat at the same time. I often wondered when I was young why Uncle Ray's TV only showed sports. That is probably were my love of football and hockey came from. Thanks for that Uncle Ray. You will be missed.
