Renate and I had lunch on Tuesday. She told me stories from her lifetime. Celle, Germany. Her husband and his battle with cancer. Her trip to the United States. We shared stories of good times and bad. I met Renate a couple of years ago. She was a wonderful woman with a very interesting life story. I am honored to have spent the last couple years in her company. With love, Chef Katrina.
