Mrs. Renate M. Myers' Obituary
Mrs. Renate Maria Myers, age 80, passed away Saturday morning, May 17, 2014. She was born January 12, 1934 in Celle, Germany to William and Anna (Hagenmeyer) Haas. On August 1, 1956 she married Henry J. Myers in Germany and he preceded her in death on May 3, 2004. Mrs. Myers was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. SURVIVORS include her daughter, Anna (Joseph Bryan) Hughes of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Kathryn and Elizabeth Hughes; great-grandson, Brysyn Hughes-Brink; sister, Fritz (Frank) Lewis of England; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carmen Marie Myers and a brother, Wolf Haas. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will take place 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Matthew J. Barnum presiding. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. Entombment will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
