My fondest memory was the honor of being able to spend his 92nd birthday with him just 6 short weeks ago, with 4 generations of family there! The pictures are with 3 of his great grandchildren who love him dearly, Elyse, Blakely, and Grayson, his son Chris Z., and his very loving grand daughter Stacy and her hubby Chris (my son). My husband Bill and I truly appreciated being welcomed into the family with loving arms upon the marriage of Stacy and Chris, just as we loved welcoming you into ours! Stacy has taken such good care of and has dearly loved both her grandpa Richard and grandma Pat all of her life. I honestly don’t know what they would have done without her knowledge, her extensive time and energy, and her tender loving care! She is one of the best grand daughters I have ever known. I am so grateful I got the chance to give you a kiss, say a little prayer, and say goodbye! We honor and thank you for your service in the Navy, and enjoyed learning that your job was as one of the men who would later be called the Navy Seals team! I was so touched to see you leave your home for the final time, draped by the American flag! I pray you are at peace in the arms of our Lord, Jesus, and are happy to be in heaven with the love of your life of so very many years Pat. I would love to imagine you and Pat celebrating with a little jitterbug dance with one another, surrounded by your many many joyful dogs who were waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. I pray all of your family and friends will be comforted and feel peace knowing you are back home in the arms of Jesus. I love you and will miss your genuine smile and your very unique heartfelt laugh! God Bless You Always!
Love, Patty and Bill Ulrich♥️♥️
