Richard C. "Dick" Gillard, Jr.'s Obituary
Richard C. Gillard, 92, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011. He was married to Aloise (Champoux) Gillard for 52 years. He was a life resident of Muskegon. Dick is survived by his children: Michelle (Paul) Janusiewicz of Muskegon, Janine Knapp of San Diego, CA, and Jeff (Renee) Gillard of Tacoma, WA; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard C. and Kathryn (Fleischman) Gillard, wife Aloise, and sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Bob Meier. Richard was a WWII veteran with the Army Air Corps. He was the owner of Muskegon Property Management. Richard attended Forest Park Covenant Church and was a member of the Vikings Lodge, American Legion, Moose Lodge, was an Exhausted Rooster, and a past president of the Lions Club and Cam/Town Club, and. The MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Forest Park Covenant Church, 3815 Henry St. VISITATION will be at the church 2 hours prior to the service, 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions to Richard Gillard Memorial Fund at Forest Park Covenant Church. Richard appreciated every moment of life and made everyone happier with his smile.
