Sally, We am so sorry for your lost. My husband and I thought of Dick as a good friend. (Jim) always would sit and talk to Dick at the race track. I met him at the training center one day and found out he was your husband. What a surprise that was, since I lived next to you as a kid. We will miss him very much. We did n't find out about his death until today after his funeral or we would have been there. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know. We are so sorry to hear about Dick. He was a wonderful person - we have many memories of him at the training center and race track. He was there for Scott when Scott's father passed away at Hazel Park Raceway in 1991. Dick drove home with Scott - something Scott will always remember and appreciate. We did not hear the news about Dick until this afternoon and are very sorry to have missed the funeral service. You have our sincere sympathy.
