I made him a grandpa. And with that privilege I got many perks along the way. Some of the best memories include Oscoda yacht club, crazy peanut butter sundae desserts, swimming in the river, ice fishing on Lake Huron, camping at Blue Horizons, our mutual love of Florida & the beach, and living now almost 42 years with nothing but support, never judging, and always smiling. The best grandpa a girl could ask for, and an amazing great grandpa for my kids. What I will miss most is the banter between my grandparents, which always was cause for a good laugh. I am eternally blessed & grateful for every second he was on this earth, and even in his time of death, it will continue. ❤️

Mr, Bacon was a was not only a man of discipline, but a man of heart, We have shared moments in his office, not often, but I feel his time was spent in areas more urgent, and many times less appreciated. From one Bob to another, I pray I may see him again someday, and pray the blessings of a great father, will be passed down for generations!

I only had Mr. Bacon as a principal my freshman year, because he retired after that. But I have fond memories of him and how wonderful he treated the students. He always had a smile & radiated positivity throughout the school. My condolences to his family💜

I managed to graduate in 79 mr. Bacon used to see me everyday and his office for something I shouldn't be doing but he made a better person out of me I tried to wear that paddle out or his chair one of the two I'll miss him I'm so sorry for your loss prayers go out to use

Loved talking to Bob as he would take his daily walks around Hull Island. I also did his lawn for a period of time and some snow removal on the big days. We both shared the love of MSU. God bless you & your family.
